in temperature extremes such as rain, sleet, snow, hail, storms, ice etc. While
they are weatherproof they are NOT waterproof. They must not be submerged
underwater, so do take care when placing a camera near any body of water.

Trail camera positioning can make or break your camera
trapping efforts, so take a look at our article on camera

If your hunting camera is not charging, follow these steps:
Power Off and Connect Cable
(1) Switch the camera's power switch to "OFF" position.
(2) Plug in the USB charging cable.
(3) The red charging indicator light should remain on during the charging process.
Use Original Cable
(1) Ensure you are using the original charging cable provided with the camera.
(2) Other cables may not be compatible and could prevent charging.
Check Type-C Connection
(1) If the charging indicator does not light up, try firmly inserting the Type-C plug.
(2) Ensure the plug is fully inserted; a loose connection can prevent charging.
Try a Different Cable
If the indicator still does not light up, replace the Type-C cable with a known working cable.

To ensure your hunting camera remains waterproof, check the following:
Correct Installation
(1) Verify that the camera is installed correctly.
(2) Ensure all seals and gaskets are in place and undamaged.
Mounting Orientation
(1) When mounting the camera, make sure the bottom of the camera body (where the card slot and cable connector are located) faces downwards.
(2) This orientation helps prevent moisture from entering through critical areas.
(3) Avoid mounting the camera upside down, as this can cause water to back up into the unit.
(4) These steps should help you resolve common charging and waterproofing issues with your hunting camera.

(1) Battery Check
Ensure that the camera's battery is fully charged.
(2) Live Video Check
a. Use the app to view the live video feed.
b. If there are issues with the live video, adjust the camera position to check for obstructions in front of the lens or direct light shining on the camera.
c. After adjusting the position, recheck the live video through the app. If the live video is normal, the camera is functioning properly.
(3) Contact Support
If the photos are still completely black or overexposed after adjusting the camera position, contact customer support.

(1) Battery Power
Ensure that the camera's batteries have sufficient charge.
(2) PIR Trigger Interval
Check if the PIR (Passive Infrared) trigger interval time is set too long. This can cause the camera to be in a non-working state during the set interval.
(3) Factory Reset
Try restoring the camera to its factory settings and then test the camera's performance again.
